What We Do

We organize escape events for parties and events.  We call these escape “rooms” even though there is no real room that players are locked inside.  Instead, players are provided with an escape “goal” (usually escaping from locked handcuffs) and must work together to solve a series of puzzles and successfully complete each “room”.

Rather than you coming to us, we host these for you – in your home or wherever you would like us!  This makes our events great for birthday parties or corporate team building events.

Our escape events are unique in that we offer escape events for adults, but we also focus on designing events that are uniquely geared towards children and young adults aged 8-16.  We customize all our puzzles for each event to the age and capabilities of your players.

These two ideas together mean:

  1. By coming to you, we eliminate the fees, lost time, and hassle of travelling off-site
  2. Team members notice and appreciate each other’s gifts and abilities as they work together to solve puzzles using hands-on problem solving skills that involve both physical and mental challenges

For groups of players larger than 5 or 6, we recommend splitting into smaller teams that play in tandem as we find that the players engage better in smaller groups. In larger groups sometimes less assertive people will not have a chance to do much as the more forward people will naturally just get excited and take over. Ideal team sizes range from 2 to 6 players.

A typical hosted event involves multiple “rooms” (based on the number of players and teams), each of which lasts between 20 to 30 minutes (depending on the speed of the players in solving the puzzles).  Players will complete one room, then have a 10-15 minute break while the rooms are reset, and will then play a second room.  Thus, total event time is approximately 1.5-2 hours (depending on the speed of the players).

Rates are $18 per player, minimum four players. We are happy to run events for smaller numbers of players, but would still charge for four players in such cases.
